How are credit card transactions processed and is your site secure? 

We use a payment gateway called Mals E Com.  Your credit card information is transmitted to their SSL Secure Server and held for us until we are ready to process your order.  Your card is not charged until we actually ship the order.  We pick your order and then charge your credit card at that time.

Credit Card transactions are processed through a terminal in our store just as if you were shopping in person.  We do not use an automatic payment gateway like other shopping sites where your card gets charged immediately.  

Your order is processed in real time by real people.  So that means if our store is closed and you place an order that we are not charging you until we have actually picked your order.

I am opening a store and I love hipbaby™- can you please tell me where to buy this product?  

Now that wouldn't be fair would it?  It would take all the fun out of hunting for great products yourself and deciding what to buy - and besides it would be like giving away the recipe for our secret sauce or crispy coating!

What's that ™ thingy after your name you know hipbaby™  What does it mean?  

hipbaby is a registered trademark that is owned by us - which means that to use the name hipbaby you are an authorized manufacturer but have permission from us to do so.  The hipbaby name cannot be used on products or in the sale of baby gear without this approval.

Are there any other locations besides the Vancouver, BC, Canada store? 

At this time we have decided to focus our energies on the Vancouver, BC store and online store.

I have seen something in your store and would like to order it but I don't see it online. 

We literally carry thousands of products that change weekly.  The core items remain the same but  it would be impossible to put everything else online.  If there is something you are looking for or have seen in our store by all means drop us a line by email or  call us at 1-888-hip-baby and we will be more than happy to let you know if we still have it in stock or can get it for you.
